I need to take pictures of my hemlock ring blanket, but shooting black yarn in the evening without daylight is not the best idea I had. I know, it's been quiet around in this blog. I'm sorry. Thanks to my new job in a new town, I don't have the time or the energy to knit or crochet in the evening. I really miss the time I had for this before. But from Friday on I'm on holiday, so I'll have more time to relax with knitting :)

I forgot to post about the other things I knit the last days.

First a mp3 player cozy. I tweaked the pattern Seamless Nintendo DS lite Sock a bit, made it smaller and with an I-cord attached. The yarn is a leftover from the other cozy, yummy Malabrigo in Red mahagony.




For my niece I knit a smaller version of the Saturday market bag, same yarn but knit in the round an one handle. She loves it :)

A Hat and two scarfs

Hello again :)

I took some pictures the last weekend and want to show you, what I do in these days.

The beautiful Koolhaas Hat for my Dads birthday, coming up on September 12th. I'm on the third pattern repeat, but I took the picture at the end of the ribbing section. More pictures with better weather (It's raining here like hell!).





Yes, its the soft and beautiful Malabrigo :) You know it from my CPnH.

For a friend of mine, I knit a Henry. The yarn is Regia Silk and soft as Regia wasn't expected to be *hehe* I think, he'll love it.

Schon zum zweiten Mal habe ich in verschiedenen Blogs gelesen, daß
Wollkäufe vor dem Ehemann verheimlicht werden. Mich würde interessieren:
Weiß Euer Mann, welche Menge an Wolle Ihr gehortet habt? Wie schmuggelt
Ihr Neuzugänge ins Haus, und wo sind die geheimen Lager?

Vielen Dank an Martina (die sich ebenfalls als heimliche Sammlerin bezeichnet) für die heutige Frage!


Jaaaa, so ganz genau weiß mein Schatz das nicht, den Großteil schon. Da er aber selbst ein Sammler ist, hab ich immer ein gutes Gegenargument ;)
Meist wenn ich Wolle bestelle, lasse ich sie mir in die Firma schicken. Oder zur Packstation. Ich bin aber meist eh vor meinem Schatz da, und kann dann in meinen großen Vorratskisten die Wolle verstecken. Aber eigentlich ist das eher selten der Fall, er ist ja auch so ein Schatz, dass er mir Wolle kauft, die ich unbedingt haben möchte und mir das nötige Kleingeld fehlt Y
